Recruitment Consultant | Qualified Finance Specialist | Retail, Consumer, and Consumer Tech
Central London | Hybrid
Our client is a mission-driven, high-growth consumer brand on an exciting scaling journey across the UK and beyond. They’re looking for an ambitious, hands-on Financial Controller to take full ownership of the finance function and help build the systems and controls needed for the next stage of growth.
This is an opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, influence strategy at the highest level, and make a tangible impact in a dynamic, purpose-led business with clear values and big ambitions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
- Leading all daily finance operations, including invoicing, payables/receivables, and bookkeeping
- Owning and optimising the ERP system (NetSuite experience is essential)
- Designing and implementing scalable finance processes and controls to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Managing and forecasting cash flow to support effective strategic planning
- Driving margin analysis and cost control to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Providing clear, actionable financial insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and senior decision-making
Who You Are
- An experienced Financial Controller or senior finance professional with a proven track record of leadership and ownership in a growing business
- A qualified accountant (preferred)
- NetSuite user with demonstrable experience customising, developing, and leveraging ERP systems to support scale
- Technically strong and highly process-focused, with a passion for automation and system improvements
- Comfortable working in high-growth, fast-paced environments where building robust financial infrastructure under pressure is essential
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Detail-oriented, organised, and collaborative, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels
