Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking applications on behalf of our client, a reputable contractor, for a Loading Shovel Operator. Essential Experience: Proficiency in driving a Wheeled Loading Shovel Familiarity with furnace recovery and hot metal operations is advantageous. Role Requirements: Possession of a valid Driver's Licence is mandatory. Relevant CPCS/ NPORS licence The role entails working a 4 On, 4 Off shift pattern with shifts lasting 12 hours each day. Pay: PAYE £12.12 per hour – first 8 weekday hours £18.18 per hour – after 8 weekday hours & Saturdays £24.24 per hour -Sundays & bank holidays Benefits: 30 days of paid holiday annually. Pension contributions on a PAYE basis.Selected candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical examination and substance abuse test.
