Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer for a 6-week contract based in Barking. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project with a reputable contractor. Key Responsibilities: * Conducting soil sampling and logging in accordance with relevant standards * Supervising site investigations and drilling operations * Interpreting geotechnical data and preparing factual reports * Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations * Liaising with contractors, engineers, and site teams * Supporting the project team with technical input on ground conditions Requirements: * Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field * Minimum 2 years’ experience in site-based geotechnical engineering * Familiarity with UK ground investigation techniques and standards * CSCS card required * Strong communication and reporting skills * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Benefits: * Competitive daily rate £270 – £370 * Immediate start available * Opportunity to gain experience on a major London-based project To Apply: Please submit your CV via CV-Library or contact us directly for more information.
