Blackstone Private Wealth was established to answer the growing demand for Blackstone products from high-net worth investors. Partnering with many of the world\’s largest private banks and wealth management firms as well as family offices, Blackstone\’s Private Wealth team packages and delivers the full breadth of Blackstone\’s alternative product capability to these firms and their clients and provides ongoing product and advisor support, as well as education and training around alternatives.
Blackstone is seeking an experienced and dynamic Office Manager to join our Private Wealth team in London. This individual will play a key role in supporting the Private Wealth business in EMEA, working closely with senior leadership and managing a range of operational and administrative functions. Reporting to the Senior Managing Director in London, the Office Manager will have significant management responsibilities, including oversight of administrative staff and involvement in strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Assistant to an SMD
Provide EA support including but not limited to:
- Extensive diary management, both corporate and personal
- Coordinate internal and external meetings
- Field telephone calls
- Organize complex professional and personal travel itineraries and arrangements
- Manage general personal and professional administration of a highly confidential and sensitive nature
- Regular co-ordination of conference (audio & video) calls
- Monthly reconciliation of professionals\’ expenses, both corporate and personal
Office Operations & Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with senior leadership to strategically plan and execute the upcoming office relocation. Manage current space allocations and requirements.
Lead hiring and resource planning for Executive Assistants (EAs) as needed.
Manage and coordinate office supplies.
Primary contact for facilities and building management.
Understand firm policies and coordinate/manage invoices.
Team Management & Development:
Oversee and manage all European Private Wealth administrative staff, including onboarding, training, and coverage planning.
Ensure effective professional development, performance management, and retention of administrative staff.
Expense Oversight:
Manage all travel and expense (T&E) reports and ensure robust oversight of team expenses.
Team Culture & Collaboration:
Partner with firm marketing to coordinate EMEA team events
Support EMEA senior leadership in maintaining and fostering a strong team culture.
Actively contribute to the development and cohesion of the wider administration team.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build trusted relationships with key clients, internal partners, and stakeholders.
