Technical Sales Engineer Warwick Permanent Circa £45,000 per annum + car allowance + bonus Are you a technically minded sales professional with a background in mechanical or electromechanical products? Do you thrive in a field-based role where no two days are the same, and where your technical knowledge is as valued as your commercial skills? Our client is a bespoke engineering company. From design and build to repair and refurbishment, they serve clients across multiple industries with tailored mechanical solutions. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to add a Technical Sales Engineer to their talented team in Warwick. As the Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while expanding the product offering to an existing customer base. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, delivering both pre and post sales support and tailoring solutions to meet a diverse range of customer applications. What You’ll Be Doing: Visiting customers across the UK to carry out machine surveys and technical sales meetings. Advising on and selling complex motion control products and systems. Creating accurate technical quotations in collaboration with suppliers. Re-engaging lapsed or legacy accounts to uncover new business opportunities. Analysing industry trends and identifying areas for growth across various sectors. Maintaining a well-organised CRM pipeline and contributing to marketing initiatives. Ideal Background: Proven experience as a Technical Sales Engineer or a similar customer facing engineering role. Background in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical engineering. Strong understanding of motion products – gearboxes, torque systems, inverters, drives, etc. Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness.
