The Data Quality Assurance Analyst role is offering a challenging opportunity for a candidate with strong Data Quality skills and experience gained on data migration, data quality profiling, data cleansing or master data management projects. Technical skills will be complemented by an ability to communicate persuasively and effectively at all levels both within and outside the organisation.
We are looking for an experienced self-motivated Data Assurance Analyst to provide accurate asset data and to use it to plan retro fit through major works to our homes. To ensure that SAP C, Net Zero, Decent Homes and the L&Q standards are maintained and to track process .
Reporting to the Sustainability Operations Manager, the Data Quality Assurance Analyst will develop the business processes and workflows needed for introducing data management and play a major role in identifying, cleaning, and assuring data quality as well as the support our regulatory reporting.
You will also pro-actively identify ways to improve systems to reduce the risk of data capture and processing errors, for example: by restructuring the data model or by improving validation or data capture methods.
This is a varied and challenging role that demands technical, communication and people skills. You will work as a technical specialist, liaise with data stewards, processors, owners, and users, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams to improve and quantify the reliability of the data needed to keep L&Q at the forefront.
The Data Quality Assurance Analyst role will Assist in managing the energy efficient data on homes in Portfolio database which currently has 77,000+ general needs properties uploaded to it. This includes working on SAP C and Net zero analysis of the energy efficient stock data which includes the compiling of the data and uploading it to the Parity Projects Portfolio system monthly. They will project and forecast the SAP C and Net zero journey of our stock enabling us to reach our targets and run scenarios from Portfolio and carry out analysis on our data to support the Sustainability Operations Manager to create and deliver on the required strategies and processes needed to deliver SAP C, Net Zero, L&Q Decarbonisation plan and Funding.
They will have monthly and quarterly deadlines under SAP C and Net zero to governance and yearly for the SECR and sustainability report. They will s upport L&Q\’s SHDF (S ocial housing decarbonisation fund) data manager in undertaking the required data analysis to support the delivery and reporting of progress against the requirements of SHDF Wave 2 & 3. Which will include planning the SHDF Wave 3 phasing plans for submission to sign off by the Department of Energy Security . They will d evelop primary and infill address lists for retrofit programmes, taking in account existing energy efficiency, location and property archetype.
An eye for detail is essential and the ability to report the data required in an effective way to the business. They will work on several work streams at a time and have a high level of organisation skills and will have a high level of interpersonal skills and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Your suitability will be evidenced by a track record of contribution to successful implementation of data quality management and/or major data migration projects.
The successful candidate will have Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail and must have advance MS Excel experience and is likely to have formal technical, professional, or academic qualifications or affiliations related to data quality or data management. Experience in using Parity Project Portfolio system would be ideal however training will be given.
