We are seeking a Legal Assistant o support the fee earners in the management of their volume caseload with in the Commercial Property Team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: File opening Undertake initial AMLcheck Producing client care letter Collate office copies Gather redemption information Undertake searches Draft client letters and contract packs Assist with exchanges Act as first point of contact for all communication from clients and other parties involved in the transaction Maintain and build on excellent client and third party relationships through effective and timely communication and resolution of issues Escalation of issues as appropriate Work on post completion matters including registrations, file closure and archiving Ensure smooth operation of company’s conveyancing case management system DUTIES ALL STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO PERFORM: Observe health and safety procedures and work safely at all times. Adhere to all internal methods, systems, policies and procedures Be responsible for your own continuing self-development, undertaking training as appropriate to the work environment and developments in your role, including training on software or systems used at Chubb Bulleid if not already familiar with them Conduct yourself with professionalism, tact and diplomacy as a representative of Chubb Bulleid, in line with policies and procedures
