About the role
We’re looking for a Head of Financial Reporting to join our Finance team in London. Leading a team of three, you’ll oversee financial and management reporting across our multi-entity, multi-currency group — ensuring we stay accurate, compliant, and ready to scale as the business grows.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our Finance function, owning everything from monthly reporting and audit delivery to global tax and compliance processes. You\’ll also work closely with external advisors and internal leaders to support smart decisions and strong controls.
This is a great opportunity for someone who combines technical excellence with a practical mindset — and enjoys building systems that work at scale.
What You’ll Do
-
Lead and develop the Accounting and Reporting team, supporting day-to-day delivery and long-term growth.
-
Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly close, complex reconciliations, and group consolidations.
-
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
-
Own key accounting policies, journal reviews, and reporting design — adapting as the business evolves.
-
Partner with external advisors and auditors to support annual audits and ongoing tax obligations.
-
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance reporting insights through data and AI tools.
-
Help shape the broader Finance function, contributing to a scalable, forward-looking team structure.
What You’ll Bring
-
A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
-
5–10 years’ post-qualified experience in financial and management accounting at a multinational company — Big 4 audit experience is a plus.
-
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP is highly desirable), group consolidations, and financial reporting best practices.
-
Proven experience managing and mentoring a team across varying levels.
-
Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills — including use of Power Query, BigQuery, or 3-statement modelling.
-
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and clearly communicate results.
-
Confidence to drive projects independently and collaborate with senior leaders and external partners.
-
Experience in controls design, risk management, and working with auditors — exposure to SOX or PCAOB is a plus.
-
Experience with NetSuite and/or automation tools (e.g. scripting, Python, SQL, RPA, AI) is a bonus.
-
A passion for cinema — knowledge of the film industry is a plus, especially where finance and film accounting intersect.
If you’re keen to shape the future of Finance at a company that celebrates great cinema — we’d love to hear from you.
We want to make cinema accessible to everyone. We believe people from different backgrounds bring different ideas that foster innovation and engagement, allowing us to attract great people to develop the best experience for our users.
