A leading global investment platform with a strong track record in infrastructure is seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Associate to join its London-based private equity team. The team focuses on sourcing, executing, and managing infrastructure and energy transition investments across the UK and continental Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all stages of the investment process including origination, due diligence, financial modeling, deal structuring, and execution.
- Conduct market analysis and research to identify investment opportunities in core and core-plus infrastructure sectors.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
- Prepare investment committee materials and support internal approval processes.
- Work closely with portfolio companies to support value creation initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across a global platform including legal, tax, and operational teams.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or infrastructure advisory.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a deep understanding of valuation techniques.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in infrastructure, energy, transport, utilities, or digital sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong academic background from a top-tier university.
- European language skills are a plus but not required.
