Description Assembly Engineer Location: Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9NH Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (Potential move to split shifts in the future) Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for quality and precision? We’re looking for a dedicated Assembly Engineer to join a skilled team working on premium, bespoke products in a physically demanding and rewarding environment. What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll play a key role in the final stages of the production process—after welding and painting, but before site installation. Your tasks will include: * Mechanical assembly and product testing * Proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure product quality before dispatch. * Drilling/tapping, lite and heavy assembly works using hand tools, Crane operations, high attention to detail and finishing touches. * Working with hydraulics, electrics, and structural components and as part of a team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase a sharp eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a creative approach to turning unexpected challenges into innovative solutions.
