Technical Buyer / Estimator 📍 Location: Scunthorpe 🕒 Type: Full-Time | Permanent Are you an experienced Technical Buyer or Estimator looking to join a forward-thinking engineering business with a strong UK and international footprint? Our client — a global leader in industrial engineering and manufacturing solutions — is looking to hire a Technical Buyer/Estimator to join their team in Scunthorpe. You’ll play a critical role in supporting project delivery by managing the procurement of materials and services, building strong supplier relationships, and contributing to cost estimations for incoming enquiries. 💼 What You’ll Be Doing Raising and managing purchase orders from engineering drawings and BOMs. Negotiating prices and lead times with suppliers across materials and services. Ensuring that all procurement aligns with project budgets and timelines. Supporting sales and operations teams in preparing cost estimates for new enquiries. Maintaining open and positive communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
