Job Role: There is now an exciting opportunity to join the business as a Sales Consultant within their York boutique. As a Sales Consultant you will be at the forefront of the business, interacting with customers and providing a world class customer service. Main tasks include: * Sell jewellery, watches, and gifts * Provide expert advice about various products on sale * Provide a high standard of service and customer care in their beautiful store * Deal with incoming post and direct it to an appropriate department * Process incoming stock via internal stock systems * Advise customers and deal with their jewellery/watches/gifts brought in for repair; all enquiries and ensure the correct administration procedures are followed; deal with valuations, replacement estimates * Display products attractively in the display windows in order to attract, encourage and motivate attention and sales * To maintain care of stock Requirements: * Ideally jewellery focused with GIA certificate and/or Professional Jewellery Diploma or the desire to train to this level * Previous experience working for a Jewellery and Watch retailer would be an advantage * Excellent communication skills * Proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service * Must be available to work Sundays and Bank Holidays working on a rota basis SALARY: Competitive £salary reflective of experience + pension scheme + staff uniform allowance + staff discount + ongoing training To apply to join this continually evolving and successful Jewellery Group business please present your CV at the earliest opportunity to Jolyon at Jolyon Marshall Limited
