Permanent | 40 Hours per Week | £22.00 – £33.00 per hour
Venatu Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced PSV/HGV Engineer/Mechanic based in Southend-on-Sea.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join the team in a permanent, full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking operation where your expertise will be recognised and rewarded.
Pay & Hours:
- Basic hourly rate: £22.00
- Overtime (after 40 hours/week):
- Permanent contract
- Shifts – Days and Afters
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on PSV and HGV vehicles
- Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical and electrical repairs
- Ensuring all vehicles are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Working in accordance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on PSV and/or HGV vehicles
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
