At Uber Eats, we are accelerating the growth of our Retail vertical beyond Grocery, partnering with leading brands across categories such as beauty, electronics, toys, home goods, pharmacy, DIY and more. As a Senior Account Executive – Retail, you will be at the forefront of this expansion, owning some of the most complex and strategic commercial partnerships across UK & Ireland.
You’ll drive end-to-end deal execution for high-impact accounts, from international retail brands to multi-country deals, navigating operational, commercial, and cross-functional challenges.

What the Candidate Will Do

Drive new business acquisition across the UK & Ireland, focusing on strategic accounts within Grocery, Pharma, Alcohol, and Retail verticals.

Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to closing—by creating compelling value propositions that solve key merchant challenges.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Product to tailor solutions that unlock long-term merchant growth on the Uber Eats platform.

Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through structured planning, consistent outreach, and CRM discipline.

Support strategic account expansion through upselling and cross-selling to maximize customer lifetime value.

Partner closely with merchant partners to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and sustained success post-launch.

Leverage market insights and data to inform deal strategy and identify new opportunities for growth.
What You Will Need

5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management—preferably in Retail, Grocery, or FMCG.

Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding commercial targets in a matrixed organization.

Strong understanding of the UK&I retail landscape and experience with consultative, solution-based selling.

Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing both internally and externally.

Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, including pipeline tracking and forecasting.

Strong analytical skills; able to derive insights from data and apply them to commercial strategies.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English (additional European languages are a plus).
