Solution Architect – Financial Services
Location: London / Sheffeild UK (Hybrid working model)
Contract Type: 3-6 Months Contract
About the Role
We are looking for a high-performing Solution Architect to join our design team within the Financial Services Sector. This is a key role where you will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions that align with approved design standards. You will collaborate closely with Product, Change, IT teams and third-party vendors to deliver robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on expertise to ensure solutions meet business needs, comply with architectural principles, and are delivered to the highest standards.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience designing applications and integrations across:
- End-user technologies (devices, hardware)
- Core Infrastructure (servers, storage, networking)
- Security (firewalls, encryption)
- Software (operating systems, browsers)
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies with the ability to communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with third-party vendors in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Integration skills with knowledge of firewall, infrastructure, and external systems, using different integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of Cisco networking, firewalls, M365/Office 365, SAN storage, Wi-Fi, and related technologies.
- Proven background as a solutions architect, pre-sales architect, or functional lead.
