A satisfying role
An integral part of our facilities team, you’ll keep our services and equipment up and running all across the site. With an equal focus on the efficiency of our operations and the safety of your colleagues, you’ll handle everything from maintenance and contractor management to diagnosing faults and analysing plant performance. You’ll also move us forward by supporting improvement projects and suggesting ways to improve our performance, equipment reliability and energy use.
What you bring to the mix
A qualified engineer with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline and FMCG or logistics experience, you have all the tools to excel at Sysco:
- a background in engineering or maintenance
- experience in operating and maintaining fire prevention, water, air supply, gas supply, refrigeration and electricity systems
- experience of working with loading bay equipment and dock door systems
- project management experience, with an understanding of CDM, 5S and TPM
- knowledge of legislative and environmental standards
- strong analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills
- good IT literacy, including experience with CMMS and Excel.
