About the Role

As anIT Support Apprentice, you will play a key role insupporting hotel clientswith their cloud telephony and networking systems. You will gain experience intechnical support, fault-finding, installations, and VoIP technologieswhile working with experienced professionals.

A Typical Day in the Job:

?Technical Support & Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve faults incloud telephony, routers, switches, and networksvia phone, email, and remote access tools.

??Installation & Maintenance Configure, test, install, and repairIT & telephony equipment, ensuring systems are ready for deployment.

??Remote & On-Site Support Respond tofaults, moves, additions, and changeswhile providingassistance to customers and colleagues.

??VoIP & Network Monitoring UseWireshark, Magic, and BroadWorksto analyse VoIP performance and check device configurations.

??Documentation & Compliance Accuratelylog work orders, reports, and stock control, ensuring adherence toISO9001 service standards.

??Security & Policy Adherence Follow security protocols forpassword resets, backups, and compliance with company policies.

Salary, Hours&Benefits:

??Starting Salary: £18,150+(based on experience)

??22 days holiday + bank holidays(increasing yearly to 27 days after 5 years)

?Hours:37.5 hours per week (Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM)

Your Training with Baltic:

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.

Youll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, youll accelerate your skills and get the qualifications and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

Youll be based full-time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
