Responsibilities

Make an impact

Engineering Team Leader, ASDA, Lutterworth . Working rotating 12-hour days and nights. Salary is dependent on experience, plus excellent company benefits including private health care and a company contributory pension scheme.

  • Manage and lead a team of multidiscipline engineers, delivering all aspects of the engineering service within KPI guidelines.
  • Coordinate the daily activities of the Resident Engineers team through effective planning and organisation.
  • Represent Swisslog professionally at all times as Engineering Team Leader.
  • Ensure all work meets the standards outlined in the Service Level Agreement for the customer.
  • Conduct performance management reviews.
  • Coach and mentor team members, serving as a positive role model.
  • Understand team strengths and weaknesses to optimise performance.
  • Lead under high pressure and in difficult situations with analytical skills.
  • Ensure compliance with company and customer safety regulations.
  • Prepare and participate in method statements, risk assessments, and client documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement on site with your team and ensure health and safety legislation compliance.

What you need to succeed

  • Previous experience as an Engineering Team Leader is essential.
  • An apprentice-trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, with a minimum Level 3 qualification.
  • Experience working with automation is essential.
  • Able to work at heights.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, as this is a customer-facing role.
