Quix Recruitment is partnering with a top-tier international law firm to recruit a Tax Analyst to join their London-based Finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional to gain exposure to the full range of partnership and corporate tax matters within a large, global legal environment. The successful candidate will support a variety of UK and international tax compliance responsibilities while working closely with senior leadership and external advisors.
This role sits within the firm’s Reporting and Analysis function, part of a wider Finance team of approximately 70 staff across London, Cheltenham, and Hong Kong. It offers a collaborative environment, exposure to cross-border tax issues, and the opportunity to work on a hybrid model (60/40 office/home split).
Partnership Tax
- Prepare LLP and corporate tax computations for review by the Senior Group Tax Manager.
- Calculate annual partner tax reserving and assist with bi-annual partner tax payments.
- Liaise with the Partnership Accountant to review tax reserves and contribute to the annual statement process.
Tax Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in the UK and international jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with VAT and corporate tax obligations across non-UK offices.
- Assist with HMRC reporting requirements, including PAYE Settlement Agreements and Short Term Business Visitor (STBV) reporting.
- Handle tax residence certificate requests and advise on withholding tax matters.
- Complete withholding tax reclaim forms and support with VAT investigations or audits.
International Liaison
- Work with overseas partners and external accountants to support local tax return and statutory reporting processes.
- Collaborate with the International Management Accountant to manage cross-border tax responsibilities.
- Support tax-related projects as they arise.
- Maintain compliance with SRA and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
Experience & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of tax accounting and UK tax compliance.
- Ideally, experience working with partnerships and an understanding of partnership tax issues.
- Familiarity with the tax environment of a global law firm or international business structure.
- Strong Excel skills (essential); experience with Elite 3E is an advantage but not essential.
- High attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex tax matters clearly.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
