Trainee Teacher

Are you passionate about education and seeking a new challenge in Bristol? We are currently in search of highly motivated and dedicated Cover Supervisors or trainee teachers to become a valuable part of our team to work in secondary schools in Bristol!

Full and part-time positions are available from September 2025 for the right individuals, with the standard working day from 08:30 am to 3:30 pm.

As a Cover Supervisor / Trainee Teacher you will oversee the classrooms in a teacher's absence, ensuring a positive learning environment, managing student behaviour, facilitating pre-prepared lessons, and providing essential support to maintain continuity in education.

For this role you will need:

• A minimum of A levels
• Preferable experience in a secondary school setting, but not essential!
• To attend a free cover supervisor training course in house (if you haven't got in school experience)
• Effective communication with students and strong classroom management skills.

The pay for this position ranges from £120 per day for a trainee and up to £140 per day for an experienced Cover Supervisor with higher qualifications.
