Mintago is looking for a Senior Frontend engineer (individual contributor) to join our growing team. We’re building sleek, responsive web applications with cutting-edge technologies and frameworks underpinned by TypeScript and React.
You will join Mintago at the start of its engineering journey. As a crucial member of our team, you will make decisions that will shape the future of engineering within our company, working in a fast-paced start up environment.
As part of our commitment to delivering robust and reliable software solutions, we prioritise secure development practices at every stage of our software development lifecycle. We are looking for a talented developer who understands the importance of incorporating security measures into their code from the outset. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing secure coding techniques. Additionally, you will work closely with our security team to stay updated on emerging threats and implement appropriate security controls to safeguard our systems and data. Your contributions will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our software applications, providing our customers with a secure and seamless user experience.

Responsibilities
- Building responsive, well-tested web applications
- Leading on frontend technical decisions
- Working closely with product, designers and other developers to make the team’s vision a reality
- Maintaining quality through peer code reviews
- A strong drive to build scalable and performant software
- Increasing quality through best practice and high quality tooling
Skills we’d like you to have
- Expert TypeScript engineer with a strong understanding of React
- Experienced with NextJS, preferably app router
- You consider unit testing a key part of software delivery
- You have used testing libraries such as Jest or Vitest and React Testing Library
- A drive to collaborate with the team and share your opinions to push our technology forwards
