Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities

This is a high-impact role where you will leverage your deep understanding of the insurance market to develop and execute a long-term content strategy.

You will own a portfolio of markets where you will conduct in-depth research, analyse client feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional content that positions Axco as a leader in the industry.

You will have the opportunity to shape our content methodology, explore new areas of coverage, and contribute to the development of innovative content solutions.

You will be responsible for:Market Intelligence & Analysis:

  • Performing comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, expand our scope of coverage, and develop robust methodologies for new content domains.
  • Staying rigorously informed about market developments and translating this knowledge into actionable strategies for content updates and enhancements.
  • Writing detailed reports based on questionnaires and template documents covering a wide range of market dynamics including, but not limited to, legislation, market overviews, lines of business, and distribution.

Strategic Content Vision & Development:

  • Developing and executing a forward-thinking content strategy for Axco\’s Life & Pensions portfolio, proactively identifying emerging market trends and evolving client requirements.
  • Ensuring all content for assigned markets is meticulously aligned with the latest regulatory changes and reflects current, accurate market practices.

Thought Leadership & Innovation:

  • Conducting in-depth research and producing compelling thought leadership content on new topics and regions, establishing Axco as a key influencer in the industry.
  • Driving industry dialogue through the creation of insightful articles, reports, and presentations that showcase Axco\’s expertise.

Client-Centric Collaboration:

  • Partnering closely with commercial and product teams to ensure our content seamlessly addresses and anticipates client needs.

Strategic Relationship Management:

  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key market participants within the assigned portfolio, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Communicating effectively with senior-level professionals across several countries.

Managing a portfolio means dealing with a lot of moving parts: multiple regions, regulatory frameworks, and large volumes of technical information.

It’s a role that requires independence, attention to detail, and the confidence to take full ownership of your work from start to finish.

Essential and desirable capabilities

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A strong specialism in Life insurance.
  • An excellent understanding of private medical insurance.
  • A solid understanding of social security, healthcare, pensions, and employee benefits.
  • Familiarity with non-admitted insurance provisions, reinsurance arrangements, and insurance tax.
  • Experience researching, understanding, and summarising regulations and information from supervisory bodies.
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, accurate summaries.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills.

To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:

  • Experience in Non-Life insurance.
  • Language skills beyond English.
  • Experience working with international insurance markets.
