Customs Compliance Manager Location: Belfast (NI), UK Annual Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (DOE) Working hours: Monday – Friday: 9am – 5:30pm My client is looking for an experienced Customs Compliance Manager to join and help to lead their Customs team based out of their Office in Belfast. Independently investigating and acting on matters related to compliance. Evaluate the efficiency of controls and continuously improve them. Ensuring that the policy laid down by the HMG bodies are strictly followed and adhered to by all employees submitting declarations. Identify required changes to process/systems to incorporate changes of any rules, regulations, policy, and guidance notes published the HMG bodies that is relevant to customs declarations and prevent violations. Assist in the preparation and completion of internal and external audits. Issue any Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) and monitoring through to completion. Help resolve non-compliance issues/errors. Support in maintaining AEO Certification. Requirements: Experience in Customs Compliance and Customs Declarations. Experience working with Import and Export Customs for the UK and Ireland. Up to date knowledge of HMRC rules and regulations. People management skills. Auditing experience desirable.
