A well established and growing company on the outskirts of Colchester are currently hiring for a Forklift Driver/Yard Operative. This is a permanent role which is paying between £24,500 – £26,000 per annum. Monday to Friday core hours 08:00 – 17:00. Flexibility around this will be needed Who are the company? This business has 41 staff in total, have been in business for over 20 years' and supply building materials/products to the construction companies across the UK. Overview of the role: You will be required to report into the Yard Team Leader daily, operate a forklift licence whilst preparing and loading stock for deliveries that will be sent out to customers. Job Details: Adhere to the company's Health & safety policies and procedures Maintain high standards of the stock storage and layout to ensure easy access and display in line with the company standards Deliver great customer service to external and internal customers Speak with the stock control team internally to resolve any quality issues Report any breakages to the team leaders/managers at the company Candidate Requirements: In-date Counterbalance Fork Truck Licence Due to location, you will need your own transport Ability to work to your own initiative as well as being able to work well within a team Must be able to work well in pressurised environments and be physically fit and healthy Company Perks: * 22 days holiday + bank holidays Automatic entry into our pension scheme after 3 months (3% employee, 5% employer contributions) Once in the pension, you automatically qualify for Death in Service benefit which is 3-time annual salary There is a company bonus which is available after successful completion of 6 months' probation After probation entitled to staff discounts on our productsApply to this role online today or for more information on this vacancy, give Ross at Prime Appointments a call, you will find my contact details on our website.
