CONTRACT: Permanent, 35 hours per week and any 5 of 7 days
The Opportunity
To deliver safe, inclusive, high quality provision and support the Area Lead, Senior Officers and Officers in coordinating the core programme and /or specific activities.

Key Responsibilities
- To support your Line Manager in the effective planning, communication and execution of the core programme and specific activities in your Area and across the Departments.
- To deliver safe, inclusive and high quality coaching sessions on a daily basis across all of the Clubs coaching activities ensuring participants have the best Chelsea experience. These to include, but not limited to all In and Out of School activity, Player Development Programme sessions and the various programmes delivered during the school holidays and weekends.
- To support your Line Manager in developing network opportunities in the area to create additional sporting opportunities to further enhance the delivery programme.
- To support and where required lead, on the induction and onboarding process for contracted and sessional coaches, which includes mentoring opportunities, scheduling and appropriate resources.
- Conducting regular 1:1’s with contracted staff to review KPI’s and objectives, involvement in team meetings and investing in their development/training opportunities/CPD.
- To be part of a Soccer School steering group aligned to your work programme.
- To deliver on any activity deemed appropriate and reasonable by the Line Manager.
- To support the wider team by networking and sharing relevant information and opportunities to further enhance the out-reach delivery programme while ensuring financial stability and growth.
- To carry out duties relevant to legislation and the Clubs policies and procedures.
What you will bring to the role
- A minimum of the new FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification. (FA Level 1 is the equivalent qualification) working towards a UEFA C-License.
- In date FA Safeguarding Children course & the FA Introduction to First Aid in Football certificate.
- Enhanced DBS check
- Been involved in grassroots football as a participant and coach.
- Led or been involved in a project being delivered to a local community group/school.
- Worked within a community or school setting.
