Your role and responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Care Assistant to join the team. We are a friendly team who enjoy a close relationship with our clients. We are dedicated to excellent customer care, which helps us with our ultimate aim of keeping pets living as long , happy and healthy lives as possible.
Applicants should have at least 1 years experience in a customer service role. Experience within a Veterinary business would be an advantage.
Required Qualifications: Minimum requirements GCSE in English and Maths.
The successful candidate will be welcoming and friendly, confident in working in a busy fast-paced environment, have the ability to manage their workload efficiently and accurately and have good IT skills. They are calm, attentive and always focused on the clients\’ needs, providing guidance by keeping fully up-to-speed with the practice services and any additional services available.
An interest and ease in working around animals is essential though the role does not include directly working with animals.Enthusiasm and passion to deliver a first class service and continually exceed the expectations of our customers is a key priority.
The main responsibilities, but limited to:

Initial client contact – answering incoming phone calls, greeting clients at the front desk

Managing the diary – Booking appointments for consultations and surgery

Processing client requests such as orders, repeat prescriptions and insurance claims

Managing incoming emails

Taking payments and managing daily cashing up processes

Ensuring the reception area is always clean, tidy and welcoming
The environment is fast-paced and the workload varies from day to day.
The shifts from Monday to Friday are varied for this role and include 7.30am to 1.30pm, 8am to 2pm, 1.30pm to 7.30pm, 2pm to 8.30pm and 2pm to 8pm. These are set at least one month in advance
The weekends are equally share d in a 1 in 8 rotation; the shifts worked on the weekend are:

Full weekend; Saturday 9am to 4.30pm and Sunday 10am to 2.30pm, with time in lieu given the following week.

Saturday only shifts, the hours worked are 9am to 4pm.
