Retail Security Officer – Argenbright Security Europe Limited – ASEL

We design, develop and deliver bespoke and integrated security solutions that bring together people, technology and processes to achieve results‑driven outcomes. Our risk advisory practice utilises data and insight to identify and mitigate risk, inform strategy, prevent crime and reduce cost.
Main Responsibilities
- Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity
- Assess and identify vulnerabilities, working proactively to minimise risk
- Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable
- Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress
- Complete colleague and contractor searches in line with customer policy
- Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning
- Prepare detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities
Location & Schedule
- Location: Ellesmere Port
- Hours: 18 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: Friday & Saturday, 12:00 – 21:00
- Hourly Rate: £13.54
- Employment Type: Permanent – Full‑time
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence is mandatory.
- Previous retail security experience is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided.
- Full five‑year checkable work or back‑to‑school history required.
- Bring right‑to‑work documents and recent proof of address to interview.
