The Role
As a Front Office Tech lead, you\’ll lead a team of Developers, Support Engineers and DevOps Engineers working in Agile DevOps practices helping to modernise the SSE Energy Markets IT estate. You will be responsible for leading technical change and ensuring the reliability, security, and supportability of our Front Office trading teams system landscape.
You will
- Maintain critical elements of a digital service pipeline in production environments.
- Improve digital service tasks and support.
- Adopt best practices for infrastructure and applications, ensuring security and performance.
- Offer advice and technical support through workshops and mentoring as needed.
- Manage IT incidents per SLAs and use problem management to prevent recurrences.
You have
- Engineering experience in a DevOps and Agile full-lifecycle development environment.
- Familiarity with programming languages (C#, .NET Core, PowerShell).
- Expertise in Build/Release Management, CI, and CD.
- Skilled in configuring and troubleshooting cloud and on-premise service integrations.
- Understand fundamental networking concepts.
