About the role We’re looking for a Media Officer to support our Media Manager in delivering first-class football media access, media relations and communications functions for Newcastle United Women. You will coordinate pre and post-match media interview requests relating to the relevant head coach and players, working within tight deadlines to ensure the club meets any mandatory obligations and maximise positive coverage. You will attend Newcastle United Women’s home and away matches as requested, to position Newcastle United Women, its staff, coaches and players positively. Your impact You will hold a Communications related Honours Degree, with outstanding communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills. You will have demonstrable experience in handling media issues and media relation, with strong knowledge of the media landscape and trends on a local and national basis. You will also hold a Full UK driving licence. Location This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, with an expectation of working 3 days per week from the office. Please note, if you are not located in the Northeast and unable to relocate, we regret that we will not be able to progress your application.
