We are partnered with a superb high growth business based in Victoria, looking for a Management accountant role to add to their rapidly growing team. This is a team that has grown from 1-10 within the last 12 months in a Group Head office function for an exciting global manufacturing business.
Our client is offering a salary between £45,000 and £50,000, with the opportunity to progress your career, responsibilities and salary.
Responsibilities:
The role is supporting the Finance team in:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for multiple entities within the group.
- General Ledger Postings: Maintain and update accounting records, including general ledger entries via manual journals.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet nominals
- Accounts Payable: Oversee accounts payable inbox and process invoices (with the use of OCR technology), whilst ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Payroll: Assist in the preparation and posting of monthly payroll journals.
- Project Support: Assist with the implementation of ad hoc improvement projects.
- Global team: Work closely with colleagues remotely in US, EU and NZ
Requirements:
- Proactively studying towards or hold an accounting qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, ACA).
- Multi-currency experience is preferred.
- 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
