We are looking to recruit engaging and motivational TITAN Travel Mentors to our successful team.
We Currently Have Three Roles Available
2 x temporary posts across Norfolk
1 x permanent post in the City & South locality

As a Travel Mentor, you will travel in the community, therefore, a full driving licence and access to a car is required.
As a TITAN Travel Mentor, you will support young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and vulnerable adults to become confident, independent travellers. Travel Independence Training Across Norfolk (TITAN) is a comprehensive programme that offers training, both in schools and in the community. It empowers the individual to become part of their community, opening a world of new opportunities to take part in further education and employment as well as becoming more socially active.
The role is extremely rewarding, and you will see a real positive change in the people you support. Engaging with someone who may never have travelled independently before and seeing their confidence grow is always great to see. You will be delivering a range of support which enables individuals to overcome barriers. Supporting them to believe in their potential and develop their skills to become independent travellers.
TITAN travel training is truly bespoke and therefore flexibility is a key skill for our Travel Mentors. You will enjoy working with people and being in the local community each day. As well as building a good rapport with trainees you also need to be able to work well with families, carers, and other key stakeholders to build positive relationships.
This role is predominantly based in the community, however, the service practices hybrid working where you split your working time between one or more workplace and remote locations such as your home. Our technology platform and equipment will enable you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
Although the role will take place during core hours, occasional evening and weekend work may be required to attend events where you will promote the TITAN travel training offer.
