Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Paint Strip Technician within the Paint department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry. This Paint Strip Technician position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the component is paint stripped according to Company procedures. Role Responsibilities will include: To hand degrease/machine wash commercial aircraft components. To load and unload large degrease/paint softening tanks. To load and operate plastic media blast booths; internally and externally. To check components are clean and protected from damage in redlines for inspection. An awareness of the Major Accident Prevention Plan (MAPP). Skills and Experience required: Occasional heavy lifting required. Previous Paint Strip experience would be desirable. Illustrate previous knowledge and experience of use of hand tools. Good knowledge, awareness and understanding of PPE and Manual Handling.Why Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services?
