Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Midsomer Norton Contract: Full time Permanent Salary: £13ph I am seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join a small team based in Midsomer Norton. The company supplies a range of products from home DIY, domestic building trade to a variety of engineering companies. This exciting opportunity will suit an individual who doesn’t mind physical manual work. You will be assisting the warehouse by picking orders and other warehouse duties. There will be an element of handballing however there are over cranes to assist with the loading and unloading of the products. Due to the nature of the business, this is a dirty dusty environment. Reliability and a good attitude are essential for this role. The required working hours are: * Monday – Friday 6am – 4pm & 8am – 6pm * Any extra hours worked will be paid on an overtime rate at a time and a half Hourly rates: * Warehouse Operative – £13ph, additional hours worked with be paid on an overtime basis Responsibilities: * Picking orders using manual methods * Ensure stock is unloaded in a safe secure manner * Follow company H&S procedures and guidelines * Prepare and process customer orders and delivery ticket requests, pulling materials, banding and labelling shipments ensuring orders are prepared for vehicle loading on the night shift Further information can be provided by contacting Sally on (phone number removed) | (phone number removed) or to apply please submit an updated CV.
