We are currently recruiting a Catchment Operator to join our Treatment team in Bodmin. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with a competitive salary of Β£26,337 per annum. Core hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain multiple Wastewater Treatment works within the area.
- Carry out on-site monitoring and maintenance to ensure effective site operation and that compliance requirements are maintained.
- Respond to site conditions and monitoring information to ensure compliance and environmental protection.
- Store and handle chemicals in accordance with COSHH, QMS Procedures and relevant health and safety standards.
- Use the iSCADA control system.
- Adhere to timely schedules, business rules and procedures.
- Liaise with other team members and areas of the business to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Deal effectively with customer queries and escalate information as appropriate.
- Maintain a flexible working pattern that includes standby and callouts and working evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
- Travel throughout the region and assist other zones as necessary.

- Previous experience in a practical role is beneficial; our induction will provide the training you need to get started.
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English and a Science subject.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages.
- Happy working outside in all conditions.
