The Role
At Ravensbourne University London we are looking for an experienced and creative Digital Communications and Content Manager to lead the development and delivery of our social media and digital content strategy.
This role is pivotal in enhancing engagement with key audiences including prospective and current students, staff, alumni and the wider Higher Education community.
You will manage our main social media channels, growing our online presence create high-impact digital content that reflects our purpose, mission and values.
You will lead a small, dynamic team (Digital Content Officer and Social Media Officer) and work collaboratively across departments to deliver inspiring and effective digital content that supports student recruitment and increases brand awareness and our wider goals.

The Candidate
- Significant experience managing social media platforms and digital content for a complex organisation, ideally in higher or further education.
- A good understanding of platform-specific strategies (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook).
- Great content planning and project management skills, and your creative spark makes for storytelling that really connects.
- Experience of analysing data to optimise performance and have experience leading and briefing external creatives, freelancers or agencies.
- Leadership experience with a passion for mentoring, supporting and empowering teams.
This is a hands-on and strategic role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and is passionate about making an impact through digital communication.
