At FM Conway we know that our greatest asset is our people, so we have created a new Social Value and Inclusion Senior Manager role to help nurture a culture where everyone is valued and respected and to support the wider communities in which we work! In this influential role, you\’ll lead the development and delivery of strategies that generate meaningful social impact and champion inclusive practices across the business and beyond. You\’ll also take the lead in managing our contractual social value commitments, ensuring we not only meet but exceed expectations. This is a fantastic chance to shape how we deliver value to communities while embedding inclusion at the heart of everything we do. The role is permanent, full-time,based at our vibrant head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The duties of our Social Value and InclusionSenior Manager will include:

-Working collaboratively across the business in the planning and execution of EDI and social value actions which underpin our strategies

-Managing and supporting the Diversity and Inclusion Manager, Community and Charity Manager and the Social Value Coordinator in the delivery of their responsibilities and objectives

-Managing, monitoring and submitting contractual social value reporting to ensure KPIs are met

-Working with senior stakeholders, operational, talent and recruitment teams in the creation of client social value action plans

-Identifying areas of improvement in social value reporting within the business

-Reviewing, managing and producing our annual Social Value Report with the support of an independent social value specialist

-Working with our London Borough Authority clients to ensure active involvement in any inclusion networks suggesting better ways to bring the networks into our business, increasing engagement, relevance and access

-Reviewing, managing and producing our Gender Pay Gap, Disability Pay Gap and Ethnicity Pay Gap report and identify areas for focus and change

-Ensuring we retain our current accreditations such as being a Disability Confident Leader and a Silver member of the Armed Forces Covenant and identifying and leading us in new initiatives to gain further accreditation in other diverse areas

-Providing regular updates to senior leaders on progress of our actions and success against the goals we have set ourselves

What skills and experience do you need?

We’re looking for a proactive and strategic professional to join our team, with strong experience in project management, KPI tracking, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll need to be confident working across multidisciplinary teams and building effective relationships at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of equity, diversity, inclusion, human rights, and UK equality regulations. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, comfortable with setting KPIs and interpreting data, and well-versed in Microsoft Office applications, & KPI dashboards. A self-starter with strong planning and organisational skills, you’ll bring high professional standards and cultural sensitivity to everything you do. While previous experience in the construction industry and a degree-level qualification are desirable, they are not essential.
