Workshop Mechanic (Training into HGV) £38,000 – £42,000 + Training into HGV + Overtime + Progression + Pension + Holiday Commutable from Carlisle, Dumfries, Wigton, Brampton, and surrounding areas Shift Pattern: Earlies and Lates, 2am – 6pm, 6pm – 2am Are you from a Heavy Vehicle background such as HGV, REME, Plant, Agricultural or similar looking to join a well established family run company who will invest in you with fantastic training to become a technical expert in the industry, all the while being able to maximise your earnings with plentiful overtime opportunities? On offer is the chance to join a friendly company where you will be more than just a number, working early and late shifts with no callout and opportunities for additional overtime, as well as training to develop your career in the industry and progress your career into leadership positions. In this role you will carry out service and maintenance to a wide range of heavy vehicles such as HGV, recycling/ refuse vehicles, and more. The role is based on a static site with a rotating early and late shift pattern. The role would suit someone with some heavy engineering background such as HGV repairs, REME/ military, heavy plant, agricultural, or similar machinery.
