We are recruiting Production Operatives to join our team based in Oldham with opportunities to join our Production shifts working a rotating pattern of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.
About the Role
As a Production Operative you\βll be responsible for running high-speed machinery safely, efficiently, and effectively. This includes performing quality and safety checks, troubleshooting issues, and making adjustments as needed.
The main focus of this role is teamwork, safety, and working to high standards.
Production Operative Duties
- Operating and monitoring machinery to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Conducting regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Undertaking routine maintenance and cleaning of the machinery.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials.
- Adhering to quality, health, and safety procedures and regulations.
- Keeping accurate records of production output and downtime and working as a team to reach output targets.
- Carrying out pre-use machinery checks, identifying any issues or faults.
