Applications are invited from enthusiastic RGN or ODP Endoscopy Practitioners to join the JAG-accredited Unit team at our client\’s Acute Hospital site based in beautiful Bath, Somerset.
The Unit undertakes a range of diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, including:
- Flexible cystoscopy
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Gastroscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Upper GI endoscopy
You will work as a clinical member of the Endoscopy team and will be responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, patient-focused care. You may also be required to rotate into Endoscopy Recovery if needed.
This is a full-time substantive post, but we are open to hearing from applicants seeking part-time opportunities.
Shift patterns include: 08:00 – 16:00, 10:00 – 18:00, 08:00 – 18:00, mainly Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.
The hospital is award-winning, led by experienced consultants, with 24/7 RMO on-site support. It was rated \’outstanding\’ for caring and has been a centre of excellence since its acquisition by the NHS in June 2021.
The hospital features 28 en-suite inpatient beds, 22 day-case beds, and 5 ambulatory care beds. Facilities include 9 consulting rooms, 4 operating theatres (2 with laminar flow), a JAG-accredited Endoscopy suite, and other specialist units.
Candidate requirements include:
- RGN or ODP with NMC or HCPC registration
- At least six months of Endoscopy Practitioner experience
- Articulate and motivated graduate ODPs interested in developing into Endoscopy Practitioners are encouraged to apply.
