Want to work with an award-winning and quickly expanding company? We’re a travel site making it a doddle to book camping, glamping and caravan sites all over the world, with over 6,000 to choose from.
Pitchup.com receives 40m annual visits and up to 8,000 bookings per day – so far we\’ve booked £500m worth of holidays, helping more than 15m holidaymakers make their great escape.
Over the last two years we\’ve launched new desktop and mobile websites with an updated look and feel, led a successful campaign to change the law to open more campsites in the UK, and adapted our search to give disabled travellers the information they need. You\’ll join a nimble team of 70 based in 10 countries: we\’re a 100%-remote business so we all work from home, getting together from time to time when we can. The company is profitable and was founded in 2009 by former lastminute.com staff with a background in the holiday park sector.

We’re members of the Financial Times\’ FT1000 fastest growing companies in Europe and recently were awarded the Platinum Trusted Service Award by Feefo, for achieving a customer rating of at least 4.5 out of 5 for six years in a row.
About the role:
You will run the performance marketing activity alongside the Performance Marketing Lead – currently paid search/PPC and paid social, with £2.5m+ annual spend – underpinning ambitious plans for domestic and international growth. As such, the role encompasses optimising ROI/revenue growth, geographic expansion, automation (including monitoring our existing integrations), and supporting the identifying and executing of growth initiatives, including experimentation.
Reporting to the Performance Marketing Lead, and working closely with the Managing Director and Founder, our SEO Lead and Data Scientist, you will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. This is our second in-house performance marketing role as we have transitioned from agency management six months ago, where you’ll support the Performance Lead in growing the paid search and paid social media accounts. - Maximise productivity through automation and feed integration
- Rapidly identify high-potential ideas via a ‘test and learn’ approach
- Support the building out of the international plan and global expansion, targeting local search engines as appropriate
- Suggest implementing monitoring tools and aid the process/reports for analysing PPC performance
- Assist with the balancing of revenue/lead growth with acceptable ROI levels appropriate to market entry stage and LTV
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, SEO, translation and content as needed to deliver campaigns
- Work closely with other channels to achieve business goals, encompassing cannibalisation, keyword opportunities and ad copy
- Make data-driven decisions based on metrics, industry insights, market trends, and the competitive landscape
- Contribute to Pitchup.com\’s broader growth strategy and keep abreast of PPC, SEM and Paid social trends
About you:
- Proven track record of setting, delivering and running £5m+ annual spend global paid search and social campaigns efficiently while increasing revenue and traffic, ideally within an online travel company or complex e-commerce business

- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ideally a background (e.g. degree) in a STEM or other numerate discipline
- UK-based with right to work in the UK (unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship)
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000
