Looking for a role where your support truly makes a difference?
We\’re recruiting a Criminal Justice Interventions Worker to join a brilliant charity supporting people across Essex who are in prison or on probation. This is a floating role; you\’ll step in when staff are off, picking up existing caseloads to keep clients\’ progress moving forward.
You\’ll usually be based at the nearest site to you, but may travel across the region when needed, and all travel is paid.
The sites are: HMP Chelmsford, Basildon, Harlow, Southend-on-Sea, and possibly Colchester depending on service needs.
The support you provide will focus on resettlement and rehabilitation, helping people access housing, prepare for employment, set goals, and take positive steps forward.
What We\’re Looking For
- Experience working in criminal justice, or with vulnerable clients (e.g., housing, addiction, mental health)
- Or a criminology graduate with relevant voluntary experience
- Flexibility to travel across Essex when required
This role could suit someone with experience in probation, housing, resettlement, employment support, or simply someone passionate about second chances.
