Job Description
A leading, fast-growing global financial services group is seeking an IT Access Management Analyst to join its centralised IT function. Supporting a user base of over 15,000 staff across multiple international offices—including senior executives and VIP users, this role plays a critical part in ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant access to IT systems and services.
As part of the Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML) lifecycle, you will manage user permissions and access rights across a broad suite of business-critical applications and infrastructure. Whether you're currently working in a Service Desk, IT Security, or User Management role, this is a great opportunity to expand your expertise in Access Management and develop your career within a forward-thinking, high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Administer user access rights via Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, Office 365, SharePoint, InTune, and other platforms.
- Manage JML lifecycle processes—ensuring timely setup for new joiners, updates for internal movers, and revocation of access for leavers.
- Process and resolve access requests through the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
- Maintain and improve documentation for access management processes and workflows.
- Act as a point of contact for access-related queries, escalations, and audit compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and service delivery teams to ensure policy alignment.
- Support continuous service improvements (CSI) and contribute to team-wide initiatives and training materials.
- Monitor access management queues and workflows, escalating issues as needed to the Access Management Team Lead or IT Support Manager.
About You
- 2+ years’ experience in a Service Desk, IT support, user administration, or access management role.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365 user administration.
- Understanding of JML (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) lifecycle and related access security principles.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and experience using ITSM tools (ideally ServiceNow).
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow within IT and Information Security.
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
Location: Remote (2 days per month on-site in Milton Keynes)
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months) – Possible permanent
Benefits: Bonus program, paid training & development, generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, health and life insurance, and more.
