Recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant with experience and knowledge to work 1-1 with a child who has additional needs in a Hornchurch-based school.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, ideally with SEN knowledge, to support, develop, and nurture the EYFS child through their everyday learning and development.

Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 3.30pm, with a break, (Term time only)

For this EYFS Teaching Assistant role:

  • Experience and knowledge of working with Early Years children with additional needs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum and phonics.
  • Supporting the child through learning and play.
  • Working alongside the teacher to role model and guide the student, motivating, supporting, and developing the child\’s skills.
  • Having high expectations for behaviour and supporting the development of social skills.
  • Assisting with personal care.
  • Relevant EYFS or L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
