Managing Director – B&R Discrete Automat
In this role you will contribute towards the B&R Industrial Automation mission of growing sales in line with the company’s ambitious plans. We will use our position as technology leaders to deliver to our customers a competitive edge within their marketplace. This will be enhanced through the provision of flexible logistics, truly competent technical consultations and the highest quality product. The education, enthusiasm and active involvement of all employees is essential for the sustainable growth of the company; and their commitment to reach common goals is the basis for our success. The role requires market research to identify potential customers who should be duly visited and converted into series customers, in line with the B&R Industrial Automation UK & Ireland Sales Policy. Existing customers should be nurtured and developed to maximise their purchasing levels through visits, quotations, new product introductions and general account management.

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
To carry out Sales duties to company required standard, including but not exhaustive:

A strategic mind-set and way of working find the customers we believe we can add value to initiate customer contact, listen in to and analyse their challenges and in a consultative way evaluate whether B&R Automation profitably can add value to the customer.

The job includes tasks as pricing, customer agreements, contract negotiations, quotes and being consultative to the customer.

Manage the relationships with existing accounts.

Use CRM as the basis for all structured sales activities.

Represent B&R in a professional manner at UK and International exhibitions.

Create a structured and reasoned annual budget for series customers.

Work with a “Target Customer” focussed prospect pipeline.

Maintain and follow health and safety standards in line with company health and safety regulations and as set down in the company health and safety manual.

Ensure courteous and polite at all times to customers, members of the public and suppliers.
Qualifications for the Role

Business mind-set to be able to understand when, where and how B&R Automation profitably can add value to the customers.

Ability to inspire, coach and keep a flow in the dialogue with the customers

Be courageous, determined and like taking responsibility.

It is an advantage if you have experience from an OEM technical sales role within the industry for a few years.

Electrical and basic mechanical engineering education and skills.

A solution-oriented approach, reactivity and the ability to work as a part of a team.

Full clean Driving License.

Must be able to travel within the EU.
