Environmental Sustainability Data Scorer roles (3-month FTC September – November)
Are you fluent in both Spanish and English? Do you have a keen eye for data and are passionate about developing a career in environmental sustainability? We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our fast-paced and diligent scoring team.
Our client scores companies and cities on their environmental performance. We are looking for several scorers to contribute to the successful delivery of the 2025 scoring process. This involves applying scoring methodologies to responses related to climate change, water security, and forests.
For the right candidates, this experience could lead to excellent opportunities and boost a career in sustainability, with training provided to qualify as a recognized scorer (including three weeks of full-time paid training and an exam).
Key Responsibilities
- Work independently and as part of the scoring team to deliver the annual scoring cycle.
- Undertake and pass training to become a certified scorer.
- Score responses with high accuracy according to scoring criteria.
- Perform quality assurance checks against scoring standards.
Required Skills and Experience
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
- Proficiency with IT tools, especially MS Office; basic Excel and web browsing skills required.
- Diligent work ethic, capable of working independently under pressure.
- (Desirable) Experience in climate change, water security, deforestation, corporate sustainability, or sustainable cities.
- Language skills preferred: English, Mandarin (Traditional/Simplified), Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish.
Location and Hours
- Training begins September 2025; work starts October 2025; role ends in November.
- Remote work expected.
- Standard UK working hours: 9am – 6pm.
Equipment Requirements
- Own laptop required; a second monitor is recommended but not essential.
- Software licenses will be provided.
