Job Description
Due to continued growth this organization is recruiting for a Transport Sub Contract Planner to join on a full-time permanent basis.
Salary
Β£30,888 per annum.
Working hours
MondayβFriday, 9amβ5pm.
Responsibilities
- Offering work to Sub Contractors on a D1-D3 basis ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Ensuring the Transport Management System (TMS) is updated with the correct information and is aligned with the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Managing KPI performance by haulier.
- Sourcing and accurately setting up new hauliers systemically ensuring that all haulier packs are completed in full and are accompanied by correct GIT insurance / O Licence documentation. All T&Cs agreed.
- Monitoring of all haulier documentation ensuring that new in date certification is supplied and updated systemically.
- Ensure Hauliers arrive at the designated collection time.
- Carrying out Quarterly review meetings with hauliers.
- Liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts.
- Sourcing additional work from both internal and external business for own fleet.
Qualifications
- Previous experience gained in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment.
- Able to work using own initiative and with little supervision.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook (or equivalent).
- Experience in an FMCG environment is desirable.
- Demonstrate flexibility to ensure that all deadlines are achieved.
