1. The Department

Our Boys Academy Department is proud to have achieved the prestigious Category One Academy status which reflects our commitment to delivering excellence across all areas of youth football including coaching, education, training, and facilities. We are dedicated to supporting and nurturing the next generation of elite footballers, as demonstrated in our memorable treble-winning 2024/25 season for our U18s as we topped the Under-18 Premier League Southern section table, the Under-18 Premier League national title and we lifted the prestigious FA Youth Cup.

As we continue to build on our success, we are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a U18 Professional Development Phase (PDP) Coach to join the team.

2. The Role

You will assist in the design and delivery of our U18 PDP Programme, supporting on the selection and management of the team in respect of all our league, cup and friendly fixtures.

You will work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team with a primary focus on delivering technical and tactical components in line with the Academy Playing Philosophy and Position-Specific profiles. Your role will also support the creation and maintenance of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) providing formal and informal performance feedback to players, individual review meetings alongside parents / guardians as and when required.

3. The Person

You will need:

* UEFA A licence

* FA Advanced Youth Award qualification

* Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAIF)

You will need to bring demonstrable experience of working within a similar role in a Category 1 or 2 Academy.

We are looking for someone who can inspire our players and staff and support them effectively – you will need to be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines in a high-performance environment. You will be able to work independently and collaboratively within a muti-disciplinary team. You will also need a growth mindset with a drive for ongoing learning and improvement.

You will need to be available to work flexibly at the Club requires including training and home and away matchdays. You will also need a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle to travel between our Club sites.
