Overview
Position: Equipment Coordinator. Coordinates the onshore preparation, repair, and maintenance of all Survey Services equipment including surface positioning, subsea acoustics, AUV and ROV survey sensors, conventional geophysical, light geotechnical, and support equipment. Reports to the Equipment Manager.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all survey equipment, inventory, availability, inspection, repair, maintenance, compliance, calibrations, and relevant documentation.
- Coordinate receiving, offloading, and staging of offshore equipment returned to base.
- In conjunction with Supply Chain Management, coordinate movements and compliance of all survey owned equipment and 3rd party rental equipment.
- Ensure maintenance standards comply with Oceaneering maintenance standards, manufacturer recommendations, regulatory requirements, and periodic certifications.
- Assist Technical Support Lead, Product Manager, Business Leads, and Commercial Managers in equipment selection, asset readiness, cost for preparation estimates, expense approvals, and inputs required for area projects/installations.
- Perform personnel reviews for equipment technicians when required and assign equipment technicians to meet business needs.
- Supervise any subcontract personnel as required.
- Participate in HSE, Quality, and Operational Excellence initiatives; coordinate implementation of equipment technical updates.
- Maintain tools and equipment required to execute maintenance and repair; verify accurate asset allocation.
- Responsible for hiring Equipment Technicians with training, cross-training, and competency advancements.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensure readiness of all equipment in the location of responsibility as directed by the Equipment Manager.
- Track survey assets and readiness of offshore/onshore survey equipment using standardized checklists.
- Oversee repair and maintenance of survey equipment at workshops; review and revise Oceaneering equipment checklists annually and best operations practices.
Key Interactions
- Discuss equipment readiness with Local Operations Lead and Equipment Managers to support upcoming requirements and ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and SCM on equipment selection, preparedness, and delivery.
- Discuss with local technical and engineering support any new or ongoing support requirements; coordinate with Quality and HSE as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate.
- Three (3) years oilfield experience with knowledge of subsea equipment preferred.
