That’s why we’re on the lookout for an Income Collection Manager to join our team and play a vital role in supporting some of our most vulnerable residents while helping us maintain sustainable tenancies across our portfolio.

About The Role
You’ll take ownership of income recovery across a wide-ranging and exciting portfolio — from sleek city apartments to complex HMOs — all managed from our central head office.With a proactive and compassionate approach, you’ll tackle arrears, serve legal notices, liaise with solicitors, and support court proceedings where needed — all while doing your utmost to help residents remain in their homes whenever possible.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively manage rent arrears and take early action to prevent debt escalation
- Liaise with residents, offer guidance on payments and welfare support, and signpost where appropriate
- Serve Section 8 and Section 21 notices where required
- Work closely with solicitors to prepare and support legal action, including eviction processes
- Attend court hearings and accompany bailiffs to properties as needed
- Monitor Universal Credit claims and housing benefit payments
- Accurately update records, financial reports, and arrears tracking systems
- Balance firm recovery action with a resident-first approach that seeks long-term solutions
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in income recovery or tenancy enforcement, ideally across social, leasehold and residential
- Strong knowledge of Universal Credit processes and housing-related benefits would be beneficial
- Confidence in serving legal notices and managing court processes
- Compassionate communicator who can remain calm and professional under pressure
- Experience liaising with vulnerable tenants and supporting them towards successful outcomes
- Confident using housing systems and pulling financial data to monitor progress
