We are looking for an experienced Duty or Operations Manager for a temporary position based in Letchworth. This role will be for approx. 4 months and will be an immediate start. You will work on a rota basis covering 7 days a week – including weekends – you would have 2 days off a week. This role is 100% site based in Letchworth. Working 35 hours a week: 9.00am to 4.30pm Key Responsibilities: To supervise staff, providing direction and support, mentoring and training. Allocating tasks to staff on duty. To implement day to day people management and procedures including the staff rote, sickness absence, holidays and completing attendance sheets. Monitor staff productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching. Managing any complaints and resolve problems Feedback any issues to the management team. To ensure all employees are performing in accordance To work with a EPOS system and as a management being responsible for compliance with financial controls and systems, recording and accounting all cash and other payments. To ensure that all orders and administration duties are actioned daily. To provide first aid as required ( this can be trained ) and report to Health & Safety concerns to management team. Person Specification: Successfully candidate will have management or supervisory experience and ideally come from a hospitality background. Happy to work on rota basis.
